Does anyone have a copy of "Teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons" that they would like to sell? I am looking for a used copy. Renata
@skool44 - Hey Renata, You can find more info. on the conference at http://www.HENB.org HENB is the provincial affiliate of Home School Legal Defence Association of Canada. Our support group is the Moncton area branch of both of these organizations. My husband (Kevin) is on the board of HENB, so I can answer any questions about it that you still have after visiting the website.
Have a great day,
Jessica
Hello,
Does anyone know who organizes the HENB Conference in May? If you have some contact info, a name, number, website, email address, anything would be helpful. thanks,
Renata
PS - sorry if this does not post as a new comment. I haven't been able to find out how to do that. Sorry if I am interrupting some great feedback on the timeline thing Kara. :)
Hi Kara!
Check out www.homeschoolinthewoods.com for ideas on timelines. We have a timeline on the wall and are using the figures from History Through the Ages. You'll see these figures on the site and lots of ideas.

Hi Kara!
Check o
Kara,
I have a timeline in a book. We have done the wall thing from KONOS as well. We love the book and have all the pages in plastic sheets.
Our Charlotte Mason group actually designed ours and I love it. All we had to pay for was the copies. I have a spare and if you want to copy it (onto cardstock) at Staples I would let you borrow it. Our friends did this and I think it cost only 12ish dollars. Just let me know.
Blessings to you, Jodie
We've done two types of timelines. One we purchased from KONOS. That one went up on the wall and took hours to put up. And moments for passerbys to pick at and destroy. Now we have this timeline: http://www.sonlight.com/KH06.html . Cameron is using it. It seems to work better.

I would like to start a timeline and would like your ideas and suggestions. Homemade, prepackaged? Wall format, book style? Where to buy, hints on making and using, any of your thoughts are welcome.
